DVD ripping programs are illegal since they bypass the copy protection. That doesn't mean that they aren't out there; it just makes them harder to find. And, once you've ripped it the resulting file is HUGE. HandBrake is my fave of the two. It can even make backup copies of your (legally owned, I assume) purchased DVDs.<BR/><BR/>Emailing is a whole different thing.
