eBay...
Sometimes you get a great deal and sometimes you get fucked in the ass with a dry brick. Here's a hint - don't buy something if you don't see the shipping and handling costs. That means that you're fixing to get the business end of a brick. Usually, I check the auctions very carefully but was off of my game a couple of weeks ago. I went ahead and paid for the thing but I have the person's physical address and am thinking of sending her some sort of "gift" from Tiny Dog. Just to make myself feel better.
Isn't it funny that a cuntofamother will boo-hoo about how much she doesn't get to see her kids but when she has them for 4 nights in a row, she manages to go out on the town for 2 of those nights? I'd love to slip a mickey in one of her drinks and then snatch her bald-headed in a parking lot some night. But I won't. Because I'm lazy.
In 4.5 short hours, we will be stumbling out of bed to head to the theme park. Woot. It's a very big day because Sheikra is going floorless and BigBrother has plans to be one of the first people on it. I'd love it if he wet his pants.
Did you get screwed on your Wii shipping? They have them in stock in stores around here. Target had 6 the other day and GameStop has 3.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear about your bum deal.
ReplyDeleteI've had a run of good eBay luck recently including: Buying a beautiful leather 'fake' Chloe Paddington bag for $250 (it was listed as 'authentic - unwanted gift', but they all say that) & finding when it arrived that it is actually authentic! Trouble is I've only worn it once because hey, it's a $3,000 bag. (My guess, more likely 'stolen' than 'unwanted gift'.)
Also I risked buying something breakable for the first time, and it arrived in perfect condition.
Ebay users like to screw people over. . . I think sending her a present from Tiny is perfect.
ReplyDeleteCissy: Dammit, Cissy, how many times do I have to tell you that I didn't STEAL that purse I sold you? Geez...
ReplyDeleteEbay just seems like a breeding ground for scams to me, I won't have anything to do with it.
ReplyDeleteHave fun on the rides, take a bucket...
JediMacFan - I did get screwed on the Wii shipping but I knew how much it was going to be when I bid. I used "buy it know" for a gamecube controller ($12) and the shipping was 10 freaking dollars for standard shipping. Rip off.
ReplyDeleteSo, you have a source for nice purses? How about sunglasses? I want some new ones. ;)
Cissy Strutt - Dude, a $3000 purse? I'd sell it and get a car. Or a couple of nice chihuahuas.
Bekah - Glad to know that the idea seems like a good one. I was afraid it was too much.
The Phosgene Kid - eBay has been a hit or miss thing for me. Think I'll lay off for awhile.
I managed to not yack on the rides. I only rode the one and called it a day.
It does suck. Royally. The deserve a gift from Tiny.
ReplyDeleteHmmm you'll have to let me know about the rides. I'm so jealous. I love riding rides!
Patti_Cake - I only rode one ride but it was worth the trip!
