The Wombat Took a Peek at Me in My Tee Pee!

Wombats have been mentioned here a few times here before. I have never seen one in real life but they are my favorite animal. So small and bearish.

Cissy Strutt has a post up about them with lots of pictures. Did you know that wombats have distinctive cubic scats? The fact that they poo in squares just makes them more special.

I wish I had one. A wombat, not a bit of scat.

    I think I may be a wombat, then.

    I ate a whole bunch of Starburst yesterday and today - low and behold - multicolored square scat.

    I couldn't bear to flush it.

    Reminds me of Common Wombat, he used to frequently blog about poop. I don't think it was ever square, though.

    I'd recommend a red wine to go with your wombat. They are a bit on the gamey side, but if prepared right they are not bad eating.
