Blech.

After eating my cereal this morning I thought I'd be nice and give Stinky dog a treat of some leftover milk.

I've just found out that she is lactose intolerant.

About 45 seconds after eating the teensy bit of milk she barfed in 3 places on the floor. All of the dog food she'd just eaten was in there.

It was hard to clean up because I was retching so hard that my eyes were closing.

Thank goodness for the carpet cleaner.

IIICCCKK!! Poor dear doggie and poor dear YOU, too!!! Sometimes Pet Throw-Up can be really impossible to clean up, can't it? I always feel badly when MY Sweetie, (meow) throws-up because I know that is hard on him...but, it's not real easy for me if it's that type you are describing......m-e-s-s-y....

OMG!! Hon', try having to clean up after your cat has barfed up a hair ball and everything else that was in their stomach at the time...
Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!

Gross.

Last night I scooped up Duce and rolled over with him (I was sitting and I picked him up and rolled backwards) and he vomited all over my shoulder and the floor. I don't know what caused it, because he was FINE, but I guess the pressure of my hands on his stomach and the rolling was just too much to handle. It was so sick. Then Mark, the kind man that he is, left me alone to clean it up. Dog puke is so gross.

What was really gross about it was there was alot of dog drool in it. So it was all slippery when I was trying to pick it up with my plastic baggy. Made me think of raw eggs and that made me want to puke.

Mollynormal - I can't really hold Stinky responsible for this one. I need to be a more responsible pet owner and quit giving them people food. But they are such cute little beggars.

I think cleaning up puke is like the pain of childbirth. A few hours after I do it, I forget how horrible it was.

My dog bit my wife this morning, leaving beagle slobber all over her arm and a large knot on the dogs head. and all she was trying to do was untwist her collar.
i have one dumb dog.

Bo Snagley - You have Stupid Patsy and Fuzzy Britches - do you have any animals at Snagley Acres that are normal?

I think I write the 'Eeeeeeewww!' comment on your blog more than anyone else's.

I can clean up shit like a champ, but puke makes me, well, puke. And worse, I was cleaning up one cat's puke yesterday, and the other two were fighting over eating it. Nasty.

And then the dog was eating cat turds out of the litter box. Yesterday was a dry heave day for me.

I feel your pain.

Anne Arkham - I'm sorry. But this is how it goes over here.

Zube Girl - I kept having to flick Tiny dog out of the vomit while I was cleaning it up. That little dog will eat ANYTHING.

Carpet cleaner is a necessity in this house.

I knew there was a reason I don't have pets. You are way too nice to the canines. I would have probably taken them to the animal shelter by now. Nothing makes up for cleaning up dog puke. Y U C K! ! !

My wife and I have an understanding. I kill spiders, she cleans up dog vomit. They both appear at relatively the same intervals. We have to feed our dogs "Sensitive Stomach" food or they turn into lawn sprinklers.

I've got a pretty weak stomach when it comes to puke. Funny thing is, if it's my son...I'm fine. He could retch his feet out of his mouth into my hands and I'd be ok with it. I hear the dog choke on slobber and I'm a gagging idiot.

that is a great way to start the day.. not!!! Have a great day

Shannon - For some reason, I think cat vomit would be more gross. More hairy maybe?

Pissy Britches - You just made me gag again thinking of the smell!

MCB - Stinky dog used to live with a homeless man. I'd feel bad if I abandoned her again. This is all that is saving her.

Kyuball - I can't even clean my own puke without getting sick all over again. Puke doesn't bother Sweety. He's the designated people puke picker-upper.

Layman - I thought since dog's ate milk when they were babies it'd be okay. I guess there's a difference in mama dog milk that's straight from the tit and cold, pasteurized cow milk when it hits the dog's stomach.

Him - Hee, hee. I hope you were able to conjure up a nice mental picture too.
