Dead Grass & Babies

A new house was built in the neighborhood not too long ago. About 3 weeks ago brand new sod was laid down for the yard. And then, it wasn't watered. Here is the grass now. They turned on one of those little yard sprinkler thingys about a week ago and it has been on day and night. But guess what? That damn grass is STILL dead so quit watering it already! The house is for sale and I think they'll have a hard time unloading it with the yard looking like that. They should just spray paint the dead stuff green.

I'm working on getting Sweety on board the "Let's have a baby!" train. I have my work cut out for me. It's not like I want a kiddo nine months from now. Someday is close enough for me because before I'd been at 'probably never'. Hopefully, my eggs will stay nice and juicy.

I think I need a nap.

I think spray painting the dead grass is a genius idea. In fact, I may go around our yard and spray paint the dead areas green. Brilliant!

Maybe you could just start diapering and breast feeding Oy instead of having a baby.

Good luck on the baby train! You really do need an adorable little girl!

It's a scientific fact that taking frequent naps will help to keep your eggs nice and juicy.

For years I have been thinking about having my yard dug up and paved and then painted green. I think it could be a hell of a business.

Bekah - Oy bites me when I make her breast feed. She needs to have her teeth yanked out.

Patti_Cake - Thanks for the luck. Sweety is kind of freaked out that I've mentioned breeding.

Mike - If that's the case, I have some of the freshest and juiciest eggs around.

I'd like to put pea gravel down and paint it green.

RennBA - Thanks!

James - They might not notice. Heck, they didn't notice that their grass was withering under the Florida sun.

Chuck - I've never seen any deader.

Joey Polanski - Why to I feel like your comment is a song title?

Dogs…dogs are better then kids. So does your neighbor have any cattails or rushes growing in his yard yet??

What a great idea to spray paint the dead stuff! And you are right cause unless they resod and water...they will have brown dead!

Good luck with getting Sweety to agree about a little one. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

I see a little tuft of green kind of in front of the garage door. I bet it's weeds. Weeds will grow anywhere.

So will children, though. If you've gotten on the baby train, good luck to you. I had a brief thought, once, of having a baby. I laid down for a minute, and the thought went away. None for me, thanks! I'd rather ooh and aww over others' kids.

Always a shame to let grass go to waste.

Your spelling and word usage shows that you are within allowable reproductive criteria. You should not waste the chance to impact the gene pool.

The second time I read that title it seemed much more morbid.

The Phosgene Kid - There's is nothing alive in that yard.

OOLOTH - I'm just waiting for someone to toss a cigarette butt on it.

Scorpy - The weeds are even starting to look puny though.

Maybe dogs are better than kids...

Vox - You can never have too much good grass.

But what if I have a low-eared baby?

R. Fuel - Heh.
