I Like Mine More!

Rotten Dogs

So the little dog we're watching is an escape artist and the big dog is just a pissy, nasty, whiny canine. When he was dropped off the first thing he did was start peeing on the wall. Instead of fussing at him for it, his owner (BIL) gave him a thumbs up and said something along the lines of "good dog! show 'em who's the boss!" WTF? Gee, thanks, buddy! The dog pees on EVERYTHING. As a result, he'll be spending his entire visit on the porch. I despise him. I can't help but tell him to go to hell every time I pass the window to the porch. I never thought I could dislike an animal on such a personal level. The little dog is starting to come out of the crate where he's been hiding since Friday night. I'm going to try and get him to come in the house tonight but I don't know if he'll enjoy it. He's so skittish. I think he's missing his "mama" something fierce.

Being around these two defective dogs really makes me appreciate mine. Sure Tiny Dog eats walls, but at least she's friendly! And I noticed that the girl dogs' fur is softer than the boy dogs' fur. I wonder if that has something to do with hormones or what? Or is that just another sign of my dogs' perfection?

The little one looks just like mine. Fortunately, mine isn't an escape artist.

I know what you mean about not liking the visitors. I didn't enjoy my last bout of dog-sitting, either. I couldn't wait to get rid of him. like, RIGHT NOW! If I could have gotten away with leaving him on the porch, that would have been his home.
Bonus to that was that they decided to stay "away" an additional day. Didn't ask, didn't even call, just ... stayed. She claimed she tried to call the day they should have been back to "let me know," but that isn't asking, now is it?
Self-centered.... anyway... grin and bear it, Chickie.

Don't dislike the dog - its the dog's owner who is to blame. I am of the opinion that if a dog bites someone, the owner should be put down and the dog rehabilitated.

Joey Polanski - I'm not beating them with sticks or anything. Just not letting the big dog in to pee on everything.

Mike - I'll bet yours is more sociable.

Scorpy - If they were uncomfortable on the porch then I wouldn't leave them there but they're okay out there. The little dog is starting to come out of the crate to say hi when we go out there and the big one has stopped pissing right on our patio door. Maybe they can be rehabilitated.

The Phosgene Kid - I'm with you on that opinion!

I can't blame you for not letting the dog piss everywhere. The porch won't kill him. I heart basset hounds, i'll have to post about my Flash one day but it makes me so sad..... :(

It's because boys don't believe in conditioner.

I think you let Tiny dog hump their faces for a little while to straighten them out.

Pardon the pun, but that sounds like a real pisser. You sound as if you have the canine version of You, Me and Dupree on your hands. LOL

Patti_Cake - If it was my own dog, maybe I could live with the pee. But maybe not. I almost used Flash as the blog name for this dog. Since I'm not really bonding with him I decided he didn't need a name for blogging purposes.

R. Fuel - Ah, so that's it! Thanks for clearing that up.

Bekah - The little dog is too fast for Tiny to catch and the big dog is too busy trying to figure out a way to hump her for her to get a grip on him.

Amy - I haven't seen that yet but I'll think of this situation when I do now!

haha So how long until your obnoxious house guests go home?

I gotta agree, they don't know they're not too lovable, but I'd still be going crazy and calling their parents asking when they were come back and get them everytime they did something wrong! lol

Funny! You have a wall eating dog, and I have a door eating Border Collie. She ate right through a door to get out of her confindment. We left her in the basement along with our other dog to go to the Zoo and when we returned both dogs were upstairs. Tess the Border Collie is Houdini reincarnate!!!! She can escape any confinds. Most of the time we can never figure out how she does it!!

Debra - They should be gone this weekend or next Monday at the latest. I can't wait to clean off the back porch!

NeverEZme - Tiny and Tess surely never need to meet. There's no telling what kind of tips they could give each other!

Since when is peeing on things a good trait? Its a shame the owner is your BIL. Otherwise, you could really tell him off for having such an un-civil dog. You should let him watch Tiny and tell her to eat his entire house., or at least all of his underwear.
