In 4 minutes, I leave the house to go chaperone a field trip for BB's class. I'll be in charge of six 12 year old boys. My stomach hurts. I don't know if it's in dread or anticipation. May the force be with me.

Come on, buck up, feel my pain.
I stay in a room with 12 and 13 year olds (15-25 of them) for 8 hours a day.
There are some tricks to dealing with them.
1) Talk about power tools, fire, and missing bodies a great deal
2) Make verbal slips like "I just can't believe I get to be with such a great group of victi.. I mean students."
3) Tell them your personal motto is "No body, no crime."
It makes things much easier
