Our Halloween

Here we have Freddy Krueger and some cracked out, killer clown. I found them to both be quite disturbing.

The coolest thing was that the nose glowed. We went to a carnival type thing and people were really noticing the boys' costumes. One person even asked BigBrother(12) if she could take a picture of his clowned up self. I told him that you were a friggin rockstar if you have people wanting to take pictures of your costume.

Ah! What's this? Two bees and a princess!

Tiny was so pissed off that she wouldn't even look at the camera.

We had a pretty good time Halloween night. The boys and I were able to hit 2 different city celebrations (though we couldn't trick-or-treat too much because they were so crowded) and our neighborhood. They have enough candy to see them through to the New Year.

Next year they'll be at their mother's house on Halloween and I figure that the next Halloween that they're at ours that they'll be too old for trick-or-treating. I told them that the next time they're here on Halloween that we will decorate our yard up and the walkway to the house and give people a fright as they come up for candy. The boys are completely on board with that plan and I'm looking forward to it too.

LOL, LOL, LOL...Oh That picture of the dogs is PRICELESS! How did you ever get them to stand still long enough to get all that stuff on them??? Tiny may be pissed by there she is right up against her favorite buddy....! LOL!
Great Chickie....just great!
And the boys costumes are pretty damn scary looking...Especially the Teeth & Nose....!
Next year you an Sweety should start Dressing Up the outside of your house as a Rehearsal for the following year....Find out what works and what doesn't...What Fun!!!
Do they really have enough candy to last till New Years??? THAT'S A BIG HAUL!!! LOL!

That killer clown mask is spooky looking.

The dogs look great, as always, but you must have drugged them up for that photo. Carmen would never sit still that long.

Tiny makes a a good bee; even if she doesn't like it.

The boys may still go trick-or-treating in two years. Our daughter is 15 and still gets dressed up in costume and goes out with her friends in the neighborhood.

Lady of the Hills - I'm going to do a test run at our house next Halloween so I can get everything in order for when the boys are here. Oh, yeah. They'll have candy for awhile!

Mike - Stinky doesn't hardly ever move and if Tiny is upset she is just frozen in place. She didn't walk around on her own until I took the suit off of her.

Midwestern City Boy - I figure the boys will want to go out on Halloween with their friends when they get older but I hope to entice them into staying at home. We saw a lot of kids out while we were and most of them were running around like chickens with their heads cut off.

Rich Championable - If we can get 3 out of 5 trick or treaters to scream or cry then I'll consider our house a success.

Amazing cosumes ... all five of 'em! I was lucky enough to spend a Halloween at my brother's house a few years back and we spooked his place up pretty good. We made a bunch of kids cry ... even his! Ahhh ... good times!

Sara Sue - Besides the candy, my favorite part of Halloween is the license to scare.

SuchSimplePleasures - LittleBrother was Jason last year (we still have the mask and I like to make Stinky dog wear it) and next year he wants to be Leatherface. Eeek!
