I Like To Help With The Dishes

Do you know what my favorite night is?

Mexican food night!

When the bipeds put their plates in the dishwasher, all kinds of goodies fall off them and on to the back of the dishwasher door. If I am quick, I can reach in and scrape all kinds of delightful stuff into my piehole. If Mama isn't paying attention, I will climb into the dishwasher.

I have faith that she will not slam the door shut and turn it on with me inside.

I'd leave food on the plate deliberately just to watch the sport.

Great idea!

Think of the money I'll save on my next water bill!

Now...if I can just figure out how to get my little dog to the top rack.

I get a large husky ass sticking out of my pantry when Yukon decides to go on a little "shopping" trip.

Don't listen to Thomas - too cruel!

My dog just waits in the kitchen for something to fall on the floor. She's almost never disappointed. Especially if I am cooking.

Hey, my kid does the same thing!

Is Tiny the only dog that gets into the dishwasher our do the other canines get in on the act too?

Don't you worry about her licking a knife or something? Or eating a plate since everything that doesn't have that no lick cream is tasty to her?

Cissy Strutt - Sometimes I don't scrape as much food off the plates as I could just to give her more to go after.

moooooog35 - Ties that you twist off of bread sacks are handy for keeping their ankles strapped to the rack.

The Phosgene Kid - I figure you'd have to keep your food hidden from him - eat you out of the house!

Thomas - If I could set the water on "cold", I would. I don't want to scald her though. I'm nice like that.

Patti - No worries! :)

Mike - I like to toss the odd tidbit down and watch Tiny go after it. Then while she's got her back turned to eat it, I toss Chi Chi a bigger chunk.

bekah - That settles it! I'm not having babies. I'll just get another chihuahua.

themuttprincess - Tiny Dog gets very excited when she sees me gathering dirty dishes because she knows what opportunity is fixing to open up.

here today, gone tomorrow - Ha! I call her "garbage disposal".

Rich Championable - I am a maniac about loading the dishwasher. I hate to do dishes by hand so I'll squeeze all I can in there!

Midwestern City Boy - Tiny is the only one to do it. Chi Chi is too short and Stinky's head is too big. They just watch her and whine while she dines. I give them treats to soothe their hurt feelings.

I don't let her lick the silverware holder. She doesn't get to do this often because she's on a diet. I was just preoccupied the other night while getting the kitchen back in order after dinner.

LOL, LOL, LOl...Oh Tiny...You are so helpful to your Mama Biped...! You are a truly fantastic dog, my dear....! Here's what I want to know: Is it only Mexican Food you like, my dear Tiny?

Hee hee! I think it is a requirement for dogs to be trustful! They'd stand no chance otherwise.

Lady of the Hills - She's a fan of anything that falls in her direction and would lick the inside of the dishwasher every night if I'd let her. Usually, I rinse the plates off really good before they even go in there, but on Mexican Food Night I don't so she can have a treat.

Zube Girl - So true. It is her unwavering happiness towards us that has kept her in the family for so long.
