This is what happens if you get in the pool at night and leave just your head sticking out of the water. You get 2 mosquito bites on your nose and it swells to skin splitting size within 30 minutes. For comparison, that's my regular nose on the right. Sweety said that I looked like the saddest person in the world after the bites.
Geez, looking at these photos side by side, I can see what a difference there is between the camera phone and my digital camera.
Happy
HNT!

Those must be some nasty-ass skeeters! Glad you didn't have anything else sticking out!
Its been so dry here, the mosquitoes are all dead or moved on. The grass is mostly dead but the heat hasn't been all bad.
start wearing repellent - I think there are some waterproof kinds. 'Skeeters can carry lots of nasty stuff, including West Nile. Filthy little things.
That almost looks painful.
ouch!! i can feel it from here!
Bulbous! Ouch!
How's it going pickle nose??
And here I was thinking that perhaps you had gotten into an altercation with the COAEW (doing my best French ascent).
I was revving up to ask you what she looked like!
Osbasso - I can only imagine how bad a 'squito bite would be on more tender areas!
Midwestern City Boy - Pretty sure that the Ohio bugs have migrated down here for the winter.
The Phosgene Kid - I will start wearing repellant. I just figured that they wouldn't bother with just my head.
Pickle nose? Gee, thanks.
Mike - There's no "almost".
Daniel - Well, make sure you take some Benadryll. It will help with your swelling!
Regal - That was the adjective that I used to describe it too!
Scott English - If I was ever in an altercation with her, I don't think I'd look so bad. My arms are longer than hers. I could probably clock her before she got to me.
But look how GREAT your eyebrows are!!
Ginamonster - You know, thinking that did comfort me!
